Let me be frank with you.Before the match i was wondering how much we would lose by.Chelsea had been in fantastic touch and we had lost Rio, Berba and Vidic not to mention that Fltcher was not 100% fit.
However imagine my surprise when United took the attack to Chelsea.We never showed any nerves and put in a solid shift.The famed Chelsea diamond was neutralized perfectly by flooding the midfield.Another masterstroke by Fergie.However my optimism was short lived when i saw the flag going up on Rooney who was tearing down the pitch with only Cech in front of him.You could say i was screaming at the TV jumping up and down.Of all the games to make crappy decision the linesman had chose this one.Still when i saw Valencia being fouled in the penalty area and the ref waving it away i kind of saw the writing on the wall.
Even then i thought we could hang on for a draw.But the Fletcher freekick and the Drogba foul on Brown were two crucial decisions that the ref got wrong again.Most United fans that i know are still crestfallen and angry as i write this. A victory was snatched from us and it has left a very sour taste indeed.
Fergie again criticized the ref and this time i believed everyone would see his point. So i was suprised when i read a piece on the daily express by the egghead mick dennis when he said that his rant was predictable and tiresome.Fucking asshole….
Anyway the good thing is that we played brilliantly.We were the better team an the international break couldn’t have been at a better time.So lets regroup and prepare for the next battle……….
